Come and experience the Overberg
We are a family run guest house situated a short drive from the center of Hermanus in the quiet villages of Onrus/Vermont. A short walk from us you will find a coastal path that leads past 2 marine pools and a 15-minute walk along the beautiful coastal path will bring you to Onrus beach with its beautiful lagoon. There are several high-quality restaurants situated in the immediate vicinity. We are also 5 minutes’ walk from the famous Vermont Salt pan, a bird lovers haven.

OUDE SCHUUR
At Oude Schuur guests can relax on their balconies, in the Lounge, on the outside patio or at the Pool surrounded by our tranquil garden. Barbeque facilities are available on request.
Breakfast is included in all our room rates, and we pride ourselves in providing a top-quality breakfast that is served from 08:00 to 10:00 am daily. Our breakfast includes filter coffee and a variety of teas, juices, fresh breads, fruit salad, yoghurts, cereals with milk, eggs made-to-order, bacon, sausage, baked beans, mushrooms, and grilled/fresh tomato. We can also cater to different dietary requirements if notified in advance. Take-away breakfasts are available on request for our guests that might want to leave early for one of the many excursions in our region.
We provide free safe private parking (1 bay per room) on our premises for our guest vehicles.
Regrettably, our premises are not suitable for children under the age of 18 and we do not allow pets. Check-in time is between 2pm and 7pm and check out time is 10:00 am.
